Description:

100% natural, HabiStat Tortoise Bedding is a blend of sterile clay and sand specially formulated for Mediterranean and African tortoise species. The blend of aggregates is designed to replicate as closely as possible the natural environment from which these species originate. The substrate retains water while maintaining an ideal texture for digging. The added limestone gives calcium when ingested.

The HabiStat range of substrates are now packaged in 100% recyclable and biodegradable paper bags.

Instructions for use: spray regularly to maintain moisture levels. Apply the substrate evenly to the base of the vivarium ensuring a depth of 5-7.5cm for small turtles and 7.5-15cm for large turtles.

Do not put it in if you are using underfloor heating. Clean spots as required and replace regularly.
