Description:

Pressure filters for the pond are equipped with a sterilization lamp (UV-C) and a backwash cleaning system. Mechanical and biological filtration of garden ponds (with or without fish) at water temperatures ranging from +4C to approx. 35C. Mechanical filtration removes suspended matter, while biological filtration converts toxic waste from fish metabolism and other organic waste into much less harmful substances. The purpose of the UV-C sterilizer is to combat suspended algae and significantly reduce pathogenic bacteria in the water.

All HAILEA QF models are equipped with a reverse washing device, i.e., by means of a rotary valve or lever, the water flow of the pond pump is diverted in such a way that the filter sponges and bioballs are rinsed free of mud and dirt to a large extent.

However, the filters need to be opened once or twice a year for more intensive maintenance in order to clean them well.
